Mary Lord
District 1 Member (Wards 1 &2)
Freelance journalist Mary Lord has been writing about education and interviewing educators, researchers, parents and policymakers nationwide for more than a decade. Ms. Lord, an honors graduate of Harvard, earned her degree in East Asian studies. She and her husband, Woodrow Landay, an editor at Australian Public Television, worked in Japan for several years before returning to the District.
