During SY2021–22, meetings are typically held on the second and fourth Monday of every month, with the exception of July and August. Beginning SY2022–23, meetings are only held on the second Monday of every month, with the exception of October due to Indigenous People's Day.

Washington, D.C.—The D.C. State Board of Education (SBOE) will hold its monthly working session on Wednesday, February 1 at 5:00 p.m. The working session will be held in-person; however, in-person attendance will be limited to members and staff of the State Board, as well as invited guests.
