About
The Student Experience and Engagement (SEE) Committee is responsible for researching, advocating, and analyzing policies for recommendations to improve how students in D.C. experience school, out-of-school time (OST), and opportunities/structures that impact their engagement and learning. Focus topics include student attendance and OST. The committee will engage with community members, educators, students, and family voices to better understand these topics and identify policies that would positively impact this area. The committee’s work will help strengthen students’ voices by hosting expert panels, organizing public engagement events, drafting resolutions, publishing research reports, and more.
