The State Board transmits a letter to the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, requesting additional clarification related to the the competency-based credit for world languages proposal in the high school graduation requirements proposal package.
The State Board transmits a letter to the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), requesting that OSSE update its original letter to President Jacque Patterson, submitted on July 31st, with proposed updates to high school graduation requirements.
The State Board is shares a letter with the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, providing feedback on the draft physical education standards released for public comment in February 2026, asking questions for clarification on some points, and providing suggestions on implementation.
The D.C. State Board of Education approves the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) to amend the District’s graduation requirements in Chapter 22, Subtitle A, of Title 5, of the DCMR consistent with resolution SR26-14.
The State Level and Systemic Policy Committee will meet on April 25, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
