DC State Board of Education Announces Agenda Items for September Working Session

Washington, DC- The DC State Board of Education (SBOE) will be meeting in a Working Session on September 2, 2015 to discuss a number of important items. The meeting will be held at 441 4th Street, NW, Room 1114, Washington, DC 20001 from 4:30 pm to 6 pm.  
The working session is open to the public. However, individuals and representatives of organizations are not permitted to speak or participate during the working session. However, individuals and representatives of organizations may submit written testimony for consideration by the Board. Written testimony may also be submitted by email at [email protected].
The agenda of the meeting is below.  Please note that the agenda may be altered, modified or updated without notice. 

  • School Lottery Presentation – 4:30-5 pm (MySchoolDC)
  • ESEA Non-Substantive Amendment to Principle #3 -5-5:20 pm (OSSE)
  • PARCC Update – 5:20-5:50 pm (OSSE & Ruth Wattenberg)
  • High School Credit Flexibility Task Force Update – 5:50-6 pm (Laura Wilson Phelan)
