DC State Board of Education to Discuss Revisions to LEA Report Cards

Washington, DC – The District of Columbia State Board of Education (State Board) will hold a working session to discuss the discuss revisions to the latest proposed rulemaking concerning compulsory attendance (DCMR Title 5, Chapter 21A, Compulsory Education and School Attendance).

The State Board will also hear an update from the Parent & Home Engagement Committee.
    
At the conclusion of this discussion, in accordance with the Open Meetings Act (D.C. Code § 2-574), the State Board will close the second portion of its meeting so that the Board members can receive training revising the State Board’s mission statement and core values.

The working session will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 4:30 pm at 441 4th Street NW, Room 1114.

Individuals and representatives of organizations will not be permitted to speak or participate during the Working Session. However, individuals and representatives of organizations may submit written testimony for consideration by the Board. Written testimony may also be submitted by email at [email protected].
