(Washington, DC)—The District of Columbia State Board of Education (State Board) will hold a working session to discuss revisions to current Health and Physical Education standards. President Jacobson will be presenting information on the new standards.
The State Board will also discuss updates to the DC Auditor report on the Public Education Reform Amendment Act (PERAA) and requirements for obtaining a diploma for GED test-takers.
Finally, the Office of the Ombudsman for Public Education and the Office of the Chief Student Advocate will present information to the State Board on their offices’ roles and responsibilities.
The work session will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 4:30 pm in room 1114 of 441 4th Street, NW.
While working sessions are open to the public, individuals and representatives of organizations are not permitted to speak or participate during the working session.
